Clear Cooperation Limits Seller’s Marketing Options!

Welcome to November as it ushers in the season of gratitude and also beautiful beginnings and endings of sunny days. It’s a great time to reflect on finding a home that truly feels like your own. The market may be cooling down, but it seems that many opportunities are heating up for both buyers and sellers considering making a move before the year ends.

*** WALL STREET JOURNAL:  Our CEO, Robert Reffkin, is quoted in this article all about the Clear Cooperation policies about real estate listings that Zillow is fighting to keep ......and make much stricter as they believe these policies benefit the consumer; sellers and buyers of homes. Robert argues consumer choice should be the key driver, that sellers should know their options around listing and have choices how they want to sell their property. Why would Zillow oppose that?

We are baffled that anyone would oppose how sellers should or should not market their properties after the recent billion-dollar-broo-ha-ha screaming that sellers should be given options around how and if to pay commissions.

Surely choice and disclosure should apply to ALL things related to marketing one’s home? Share your thoughts if you like!
